Lecture on making science accessible

Professor Diva got invited to give a talk at the Beckman Institute about his success as a science communicator and techniques researchers could use to make science accessible to a general audience!

The talk covered the importance of visual analogies for teaching abstract topics, and the persistance of diversity in science.

The talk, held by the Quantitative Cell Biology Center at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, was a great success, having a fantastic turn out of all areas of campus life from undergrads, grads, post docs, and professors.

The talk even made one of the attendees cry with gratitude.
