Social Media Training
Professor Diva is developing a program at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, a top 10 STEM Research Institution in the US, to train the next generation of science communicators in utilizing social media to make research and science accessible.
In partnership with the Quantitative Cell Biology Center, he is conducting a year-long “Social Media Training Program” that offers a thorough introduction to the entire process of becoming a well-recognized content creator.
The program syllabus covers: building an online identity, researching the market, mastering the social media algorithm, writing a scientific explainer, shooting high-quality footage, editing engaging videos, and building a long-lasting online audience.
